- Facilitated the development of the region’s first municipal LEED Platinum Facility, Bayland Gymnasium, Houston, TX.
- Designed the region’s first on-site wastewater recycling project, Old Town Spring Public Restroom, Spring, TX.
- Former chairman of the Texas Onsite Wastewater Research Council.
- Current member of the NSF Joint Wastewater Committee.
- Developed the region’s first Low Impact Development regulations “Harris County Low Impact Development and Green Infrastructure Design Criteria for Stormwater Management.”
